Daily Arena is an index. It records metadata about entries published on third-party hosts and links to those hosts. It does not host, store, mirror, or serve any video file.
Because of that, the fastest way to have a file taken down is to contact the host that serves it. The host controls the file; we only control whether our link to it appears.
Removal from this index
We will remove any entry from the index on request from a rights holder or their authorised agent. Removal is permanent for that entry — it is pruned from the catalogue and will not reappear through an automated refresh.
To make a request, send a notice that includes all of the following:
- Identification of the work you claim rights over.
- The exact index URL of the entry, in the form
https://meds.it.com/watch?id=XXXX, or the entry's ID. - Your name, organisation, and a contact address that can receive a reply.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act for them.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What we do with a valid notice
We remove or disable the identified entry from the index and confirm the action by reply. We keep a record of the notice and the action taken so that the same entry is not re-added later. Turnaround is normally within two business days.
Counter-notice
If an entry was removed and you believe that was a mistake — for example because you hold a licence, or because the complaint misidentified the work — you may send a counter-notice with the entry ID, the reason for your belief, and your contact details. Where appropriate we will restore the entry after notifying the original complainant.
What we cannot do
- We cannot remove a file from a third-party host. Only that host can.
- We cannot identify who uploaded a file to a third-party host.
- We cannot provide playback logs, because we do not operate the player.
Abuse of this process
Notices that omit the required elements, or that target entries the sender has no rights over, will be declined. Repeated bad-faith notices are recorded and may lead to the sender's requests being deprioritised.
Contact
Send notices to the contact address published at this domain, with the subject line
DMCA. Requests sent through any other channel may take longer to route.
A takedown addressed to the host removes the file everywhere. A takedown addressed to us removes only our link. If both matter to you, send both.
